We are welcoming to Nanaimo a comedian I have been trying to get here for a few years now,Mr Dave Nystrom.

Dave Nystrom has performed stand up all over the world, including a tour of the UnitedKingdom, HBO's prestigious US Comedy Arts Festival in Aspen, Colorado, filmed a stand upspecial for Comedy Central in New York and his own one hour TV special for the CanadianComedy Network. In 2006 he was brought on as a writer for CBC’s “This Hour has 22Minutes” during which he won a Canadian Comedy Award and a Writer’s Guild of CanadaAward. He once delivered a baby... when he was a baby. And it is said that dolphins will payto swim with him. Dave now lives in Los Angeles where he has worked with the likes of RobinWilliams, Dane Cook, Bob Saget, Patton Oswalt, and Harland Williams among others. He hasalso written for National Lampoon, wrote the special features on the Anniversary Blu­RayEdition of the cult movie “Office Space”, filmed a pilot for VH1 and has four children who areslowly trying to kill him
